Hi my names is Rafael and I am 13 years old. Today, I will talk about a small touristic town called Itacaré.
Itacaré is located in the south of Bahia/Brazil, it is a very well known
city by its natural beauty, biodiversity, ecoturism, adventure
turism, surf life style and very receptive people .
Jeribucaçu
beach is one of the most beautiful places there. There is a river there that goes
across the sand and meets the sea at its end, where the children can play
safely and the whole family can enjoy moments of peace and happiness together.
Also, Jeribucaçu beach is very good for surf practice, attracting surfers
from all around the wolrd. To get to the beach, you must go through an amazing 40-minute track inside the atlantic forest, where you can see native flora and
fauna.
Another
good beach to visit is Concha. Located in the urban area, there you will find
many options of beach-front restaurants, where you can find regional seafood,
such as crab, regional fish and seafood dishes, drinks and much more. As most
of the sea waters of the northeast coast, Itacare’s beaches have warm, clean
and cristal waters. Concha’s beach doesn’t have waves so it is very nice for
families and children.
Resende
beach is very close to the downtown area and it's choosen by many tourists for its
natural’s swimming pools. When the tide is down, it is possible to enjoy warm
and incredible pools formed by rocks. It is amazing! You can see little
colorful fish, crabs, and other marine small creatures.
Besides
the beaches, there are also many waterfalls and good rivers for the practice
of rafting, rapel and zipline in Itacaré.
Now,
the best part, for me, is the cuisine! In my opinion, there is no food like the one in Bahia. I just love all kinds of moqueca (fish, shrimp, banana, egg, palm heart)!
There are many other wonderful dishes, such as tapioca, shrimp bobó, caipira
chicken (the best), acarajé, jabá meat, and many many other things that I love!
I
would like to end this blog by talking about a very especial place of Itacaré:
Pituba Street. It is a commercial street where you can find many cultures mixed
around, like Japanese, French, Arabian and Italian restaurants, handmade craft, street
artists from many countries, stores, capoeira, and much more.
Itacaré is, definitely, the most incredible place I
have ever been to!
